The Low-Rental Housing Program is intended for low-rental households selected on the basis of their income and housing conditions. It allows tenants to pay rent equal to 25% of their income.

The Rent Supplement Program helps low-income households to live in private-sector rental dwellings or dwellings belonging to housing cooperatives or non-profit organizations, and to pay a rent similar to that for low-rental housing, i.e. rent equal to 25% of their income.

Administered by the Société d’habitation du Québec and Revenu Québec

The Shelter Allowance Program provides financial assistance for eligible persons who spend too much of their income on housing.
