University studies

The Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur (MES) can authenticate, free of charge, documents related to university studies done in Québec.

Ask your university to submit the following documents, in a sealed envelope, directly to the MES:

  • A letter of certification of the university degree (signed by the Registrar or the Secretary General and sealed with the university seal).
  • A certified copy of the official transcript.
  • A certified copy of the original diploma, but only if the country requires the Ministère’s seal to be affixed to a copy of the diploma.
