  • Read technical and architectural drawings, diagrams, and specifications for the work to be carried out.
  • Lay out, measure, and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates.
  • Prepare templates using computer-aided design and drawing software packages.
  • Cut, drill, profile, or straighten sheet metal.
  • Fit and assemble sheet metal parts.
  • Install sheet metal parts according to the specifications and standards in force.
  • Grind and polish joints, fittings, and rough surfaces.
