Job description

Securities and Investment Agents buy and sell stocks, bonds, treasury bills, and mutual funds. They are employed by:

Main tasks

Securities and Investment Agents

  • Develop a long-term relationship with clients.
  • Develop investment strategies to achieve clients’ financial goals.
  • Inform, guide, and advise clients on investments and portfolio management.
  • Study financial documents and business publications.
  • Develop a network of contacts in the financial sector to learn about interesting investments.
  • Execute orders on investments by buying and selling securities.
  • Verify clients’ investment portfolios and ensure that transactions are regulatory.
