Main tasks

Motor Vehicle Defects Inspectors

  • Examine and test motor vehicles.
  • Identify defects, especially in the case of accidents.
  • Provide an expert opinion and testimony about problems and failures.
  • Make recommendations to improve licensing policies and road safety standards.

Railway Accident Investigators

  • Collect and analyze data to determine the causes of rail accidents.
  • Inspect facilities and ensure compliance with current standards.

Airworthiness Inspectors

  • Conduct audits of individuals and companies who hold an aircraft operating or repair licence.
  • Inspect aircraft and report any defects found.
  • Detain aircraft suspected of being unsafe.

Weights and Measures Inspectors

  • Inspect and test weight and measuring devices and systems.
  • Draft inspection reports.
  • Recommend corrective measures and means of verification.

Oil and Gas Drilling Rig Auditors

  • Verify drilling operations, equipment, and processes.

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence (Category E - Avionics) to sign and certify the return to service of aircraft.
