Job description

These individuals organize, direct, and evaluate an organization’s services. They enforce internal policies and ensure compliance with regulations. They manage security services and admissions not classified elsewhere. This group also includes managers responsible for departments involved in two or more of the following activities:

  • Finance
  • Human resources
  • Purchases
  • Administrative services
  • Computer systems

Main tasks

  • Direct and advise staff who perform administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with the regulations adopted by the organization.
  • Administer the budget for contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Write reports and briefing papers.
  • Interview, hire, and train staff.
