General Office Support Workers
Job description
These individuals prepare correspondence, reports, and statements. They answer the telephone, verify, record, and process forms and documents (permits, contracts, purchase orders, etc.). They may also file materials, files, and documents according to specific filing systems.

- Prepare documents (correspondence, reports, etc.) from notes.
- Respond to inquiries or forward them to the appropriate person.
- Inform staff, customers, and the public about the company.
- Photocopy and staple documents for distribution, mailing, or filing.
- Retrieve requested documents and keep records.
- Draft reports from files, inventories, mailing lists, and databases.
- Process postal or electronic mail.
- Send and receive documents.
- Attend administrative procedures.
- Maintain an inventory of office supplies and order supplies as required.
