Teaching General Education in the Youth Sector, Vocational Training and Adult Education
Requesting an official document
You can request an attestation of the validity of a teaching licence, a certified copy of a teaching licence or a certified copy of a notice of conditional eligibility.
When applying for a teaching licence you may be asked to provide two types of copies of documents: a certified copy and a sworn copy.
A certified copy is a copy that is made from an original document and bears the original signature of a person acting as a legal representative of the organization that issued the document.
A sworn copy is a copy made from original documents in respect of which the holder has taken an oath before a Commissioner for Oaths and has declared that the copy is a true copy of the original document.
In either case, the person who acts as a legal representative or a Commissioner for Oaths must print their contact information in block letters on the copy (name, title or function, address and telephone number where the Ministère can reach them).
