Public Administration Senior Managers
Job description
These individuals plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the activities of administrations at different levels. They deal with the activities of ministries, councils, municipalities, organizations, agencies, etc. They use current laws and policies to set the direction.
Main tasks
- Establish the organization’s objectives according to applicable laws and policies.
- Formulate, approve, and evaluate programs and procedures.
- Advise elected officials on policies and refer issues to them.
- Recommend, review, and approve documents, briefs, and reports submitted.
- Ensure that appropriate procedures and systems are developed and implemented to control the budget.
- Coordinate departmental activities with other senior officials and executives.
- Make presentations to government committees on policy, programs, or budgets.
- Ensure the management of personnel under one’s supervision.
