Main tasks
- Organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities of the food service or the establishment.
- Determine the type of services to be offered and establish operating procedures.
- Hire and train staff.
- Schedule and monitor staff performance.
- Control inventory and revenues and revise methods and prices as required.
- Respond to customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
- Negotiate with suppliers and customers.
