Job description
These individuals provide support services to the courts. They keep order in the courtroom, help prepare cases, and guard exhibits.
Environment

Main tasks
- Keep order in the courtrooms.
- Read the charges and receive the accused’s responses to them.
- Swear in witnesses.
- Prepare files, case schedules, and other related documents.
- Record the main proceedings (pleadings, names of witnesses, date, time, and judgments rendered).
- Retain exhibits.
- Prepare the documents necessary for the selection of the jury and participate in this selection.
- Update and maintain the indexes and records of court Registry, the actions taken by the court or in response to the court’s decisions.
- Collect, channel, and report on fines, fees, and funds to be transferred to trust.
- Assist the public at the Registry.

- Experience leads to supervisory or judicial officer positions.
