Medical Sonographers
Job description
These individuals produce and record images of various body parts. They help doctors monitor pregnancies and diagnose health problems. This group includes supervisors and trainers.

Main tasks
- Produce images of body parts that require examination.
- Assess the quality and consistency of diagnostic images during the examination and adjust devices as needed.
- Save and process scanned images.
- Observe and care for patients during examinations to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Draft reports to help doctors monitor pregnancies and diagnose health problems.
- Perform quality control on equipment and make minor repairs and adjustments as required.
- Supervise and train students and other technologists.
Advancement and mobility
- These individuals may specialize in various types of ultrasounds (cardiac, cerebral, gynecological, etc.).
