Job description
These individuals teach students various concepts such as reading, spelling, math, etc.
Environment
- Controlled ambient temperature
Main tasks
- Prepare the material to be taught to students according to the established and approved curriculum.
- Teach students through lectures, discussions, audiovisual presentations, and field trips.
- Organize activities to promote the physical, intellectual, and social development of students.
- Distribute and correct assignments.
- Prepare, administer, and correct exams.
- Assess student progress, identify individual needs, and implement remedial programs as required.
- Discuss results with parents and school authorities.
- Ensure discipline in the classroom and report behavioural problems to school authorities.
- Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops.
- Supervise teacher trainees as required.
