Job description

These individuals teach students various concepts such as reading, spelling, math, etc.

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature

Main tasks

  • Prepare the material to be taught to students according to the established and approved curriculum.
  • Teach students through lectures, discussions, audiovisual presentations, and field trips.
  • Organize activities to promote the physical, intellectual, and social development of students.
  • Distribute and correct assignments.
  • Prepare, administer, and correct exams.
  • Assess student progress, identify individual needs, and implement remedial programs as required.
  • Discuss results with parents and school authorities.
  • Ensure discipline in the classroom and report behavioural problems to school authorities.
  • Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and training workshops.
  • Supervise teacher trainees as required.
