Job description

These individuals conduct research, develop policies, and deliver programs in a variety of areas (employment, immigration, housing, etc.). They are self-employed or work for:

  • Government departments, agencies, and services

Main tasks

Social Policy Researchers

  • Conduct demographic, social, and economic analyses.
  • Conduct pilot projects.
  • Develop and propose social programs and legislation.

Housing Policy Analysts

International Aid and Development Project Officers

  • Plan and administer foreign aid and international development policies and programs.

Social Survey Researchers

  • Develop questionnaires, conduct and coordinate surveys.
  • Analyze data.
