These individuals contribute, among other things, to the collective defence of Canada’s waters, lands, and airspace. This group includes members of the Air Force, Armed Forces, and Navy.

Main tasks
- Operate various equipment (armoured vehicles, artillery pieces, manual weapons, etc.).
- Conduct peacekeeping operations and enforce ceasefire agreements.
- Participate in humanitarian non-combat operations.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations (public disorder, natural disasters, major accidents, etc.).
- Participate in exercises to prepare for peacekeeping, combat, and emergency assistance operations.
- Conduct surveillance.
Advancement and mobility
- Experience and additional training lead to advance to management positions.
