Job description
Jewellers make, assemble, repair, and appraise jewelry.
Clock Repairers repair, clean, adjust, and manufacture timepieces.

Main tasks
Jewellers
- Manufacture and repair jewelry in precious and semi-precious metals.
- Examine, evaluate, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic stones.
- Differentiate stones, identify rare specimens and detect special signs influencing their value.
- Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewelry frames.
- Supervise other jewellers as required.
Clock Repairers
- Manufacture or install timepieces.
- Dismantle and reassemble clocks and watches to check for defective, misaligned, or rusty parts.
- Replace or repair worn or broken parts.
- Evaluate, adjust, and set the clock movements.
- Clean all parts to remove dirt and dry lubricants.
- Supervise staff as required.
