Retail Salespersons
Job description
These individuals advise customers and sell goods and services. They meet the needs and expectations of customers in order to build their loyalty. They work in commercial establishments.

Main tasks
- Welcome customers and gain their trust.
- Discuss and advise customers on the goods or services they are looking for.
- Inform customers on the use and maintenance of the merchandise.
- Describe prices, credit and exchange terms, guarantees, and delivery dates.
- Draw up sales or rental contracts.
- Prepare the goods and present them in an attractive way.
- Receive payments and complete transactions electronically, as required.
- Manage merchandise, inventories, and merchandise orders.
- Provide after-sales service.
Advancement and mobility
- Additional experience or training is required for supervisory positions.
- These individuals may specialize and act as advisors in various lines of goods and service (entertainment systems, computers, etc.).
