Job description

These individuals supervise and coordinate the activities of the printing production staff (press, binding, finishing, etc.).

Environment

  • Controlled ambient temperature
  • Hazardous chemical

Main tasks

  • Supervise, coordinate, and plan printing staff activities.
  • Establish work methods to meet deadlines and coordinate work with other sections.
  • Order materials and supplies.
  • Solve work-related and technical problems and recommend measures to increase productivity.
  • Manage staff and ensure their training.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
  • Drafts reports.
  • Verify and approve proofs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adjust machinery or equipment as required.
