- Coordinate and control the execution of a stage of metal and mineral processing and cement production.
- Operate central process control machinery.
- Monitor computerized data, circuit screens, and valves.

- Start the production system according to the established schedule and stop it in case of emergency.
- Ensure the training of the production staff.
- Maintain production records.
- Draft reports.
