In a public educational institution

In order to apply for a teaching position in preschool, elementary and secondary education, or vocational training, you must:

1. Consult the map of French school boards (In French)  and the map of English-language school boards .
2. Choose the school service centre or school board that interests you and click on the link.
3. Once you are on their website, click on the appropriate section (careers, job opportunities, employment opportunities, etc.), and submit your application as indicated.

In a private educational institution

There are approximately 270 private educational institutions in Québec. These institutions are autonomous and do not operate under the authority of a school service centre or a school board. However, they also have the obligation to teach the Québec Education Program and to hire qualified teachers. In order to apply for a teaching position in preschool, elementary and secondary education, or vocational training, you must:

• Consult the employment website of one of the four private educational institution associations, namely the Fédération des établissements d’enseignement privés  (FEEP), the Federation of Muslims schools of Quebec (FEEP’s employment website), the Association of Jewish Day Schools , the Quebec Association of Independent Schools  (English-language), and submit your application as indicated.
• Consult the Trouver une école web page  (available in French only), since several private educational institutions are not part of an association and contact the institution of your choice to submit your application.

The institution will process your application according to their human resources policy.
