Emergency school daycare services are reserved exclusively for children of parents who are entitled to emergency childcare services by governmental decree. Consult the list of workers who are entitled to emergency childcare services.
These services are also available to personnel providing emergency daycare services.
Emergency daycare services will be offered free of charge, Monday through Friday, until May 1, inclusively.
To register your children for emergency daycare services, you must follow one of the procedures below, depending on what type of institution they attend. Please make sure you absolutely need emergency daycare services before making a request.
Children who do not attend a recognized daycare centre may obtain a place in one for the duration of the public health emergency. You may consult the childcare establishment locator to find the contact information for the services available in your community.
Children who already attend a daycare centre may continue to do so according to their regular schedule under the usual conditions.
To register your child, fill out the form (DOCX 80 Kb) (in French only).
For more information about daycare services, visit the website of the Ministère de la Famille .
If your child attends either kindergarten or elementary school (ages 4 to 13), emergency daycare services will be available in some schools.
