In order to take the pulse of English-speaking communities and better understand their concerns, the Secretariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise conducted an extensive round of consultations throughout Québec with regional and sectoral organizations and institutions in the fall of 2019.
The primary goal of the consultation was to receive community input on the priorities and orientations for the work of the Secrétariat. A consultant was hired to facilitate the consultation sessions and write a report. This report shares the findings from the consultation.
Mr. Christopher Skeete, Parliamentary Assistant to the Premier for Relations with English-Speaking Quebecers, participated in the consultation to meet with community representatives and gain more insight on the issues facing English-speaking communities.
