Comité consultatif de lutte contre la pauvreté et l’exclusion sociale
The role of the Comité consultatif de lutte contre la pauvreté et l’exclusion sociale is to provide the Minister responsible for applying the Act to combat poverty and social exclusion with advice regarding the planning, implementation and evaluation of actions taken within the scope of the National Strategy to Combat Poverty and Social Exclusion. On the heels of 7 years of active involvement, the Comité hopes that its efforts contribute to the objective of making Québec a fairer, more egalitarian society.
Comité consultatif du travail et de la main-d'œuvre
An advisory body created in 1968, the Comité consultatif du travail et de la main-d’œuvre (French only) brings together the leaders of Québec’s most representative employer and union associations and the Secrétariat du travail. It has held a strategic role for over 40 years, supporting dialogue and building consensus between stakeholders as they strive to meet labour challenges.
Commission de la construction du Québec
The Commission de la construction du Québec is the organization to which the government has entrusted responsibility for implementation of the Act respecting labour relations, vocational training and workforce management in the construction industry and the associated regulations.
Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail
The Commission des norms, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail promotes labour rights and obligations and ensures that Québec workers and employers respect these rights and obligations.

Commission des partenaires du marché du travail
The Commission des partenaires du marché du travail is a provincial consultation body that brings together representatives from business, labor, education, community and governmental organizations dedicated to improving the efficiency of the labour market. These labour market stakeholders pool their expertise and ideas in order to enhance public employment services and foster workforce skills development and recognition.
Conseil de gestion de l’assurance parentale
The Conseil de gestion de l’assurance parentale manages the Québec Parental Insurance Plan and, as trustee of the Parental Insurance Fund, ensures that work income replacement benefits are paid to new parents and advises the government on matters regarding parental insurance.
Tribunal administratif du travail
The Tribunal administratif du travail rules on the recourses exercised under approximately 40 statutes in the fields of employment and labour relations, which makes it the only tribunal of its kind in Canada.
