Guided by their teachers, they reflected on the journeys and difficulties experienced by those who leave their country in the hope of finding a better life. The students took choreography specifically designed for them by guest artists and made it their own. They then created collective dance pieces addressing themes related to exile. A partnership with the Service d'aide à l’adaptation des immigrants et immigrantes made it possible to conduct interviews with four immigrants, who shared their life stories. The EXIL show, which generated funds for this organization, featured 17 dance pieces intertwined with eye-witness accounts drawn from the interviews.
