Where the general public can get tests
In pharmacies
Rapid tests are available in most pharmacies

In schools
Preschool, elementary, and high school students are provided testing kits so parents can test them and other family members at home. Tests are also provided to students at vocational training and adult education centres.
In educational childcare services
Educational childcare services provide the families with test kits so that the parent can do the screening test with his or her child and the rest of the family at home.
Rapid tests must be stored at ambient temperature, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children and animals.
For schools
District school boards, school boards, and private educational institutions do not have to do anything; Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux will send them the rapid tests directly.
Companies
The Rapid tests for employers page shows the eligibility requirements for businesses to get tests for employees who work in person.
Getting rapid tests
- Companies with more than 200 employees, submit a request to Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS) by email at commandetestsrapides@msss.gouv.qc.ca.
- Companies with less than 200 employees: contact one of the participating chambres de commerce (in French only).
