If you have a fever or any other symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have received instructions from Public Health to self-isolate because of COVID-19, you must postpone getting vaccinated. The flu vaccine does not protect you against COVID-19 and does not make COVID-19 symptoms worse if you get infected.

The flu vaccine is offered free of charge to people who are eligible. There is no possibility of reimbursement under the program. If you are at risk and would like to get vaccinated free of charge, you must go to a designated vaccination site.

If you are not eligible for the free vaccine, you can still get vaccinated. Since the fee may vary, contact the vaccination clinic of your choice (CLSC, medical clinic or pharmacy) to find out how much it will cost.

To find out where to get vaccinated, go to the Where to get vaccinated section.
