More than ever, regions must mobilize to limit the spread of the virus. You can consult the Map of COVID-19 alert levels to find out the alert level in effect in your region.
A symptom self-assessment tool is now available. If you, your child, or another member of your family believe you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have symptoms, this tool will help you get a recommendation on the next steps to follow, depending on your condition.
If you are worried about COVID‑19 or if you have flu-like symptoms or gastroenteritis symptoms or similar to COVID‑19, evaluate the symptoms on Québec.ca/decisioncovid19 or call, from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m and Saturday and Sunday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., 418-644-4545, 514-644-4545, 450-644-4545, 819-644-4545 and 1-877-644-4545 (toll free) elsewhere in Québec. For the hearing impaired (TTY), call 1-800-361 9596 (toll free).
If you have these symptoms:
- Do not go to a medical clinic unless you have first obtained an appointment.
- If your condition allows you to do so, evaluate the symptoms on Québec.ca/decisioncovid19 or call 1-877-644-4545 right away and comply with the directives that you are given.
- Visit the emergency room only if you have difficulty breathing (you have difficulty breathing when resting or are unable to breathe when lying down).
If you do not have any of these symptoms and you have a health problem, you can consult a health professional, even during the pandemic. It is especially important to continue your medical follow-up if you have a chronic disease, heart disease, cancer or any other disease or condition that requires regular health follow-up. For more information, go to the page If you need a consultation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
