• Bring your health insurance card or an ID card for identification (if you do not have a health insurance card, you can still get vaccinated).
  • Follow the basic health instructions (physical distancing, handwashing, etc.) during your appointment.
  • Do not go to the vaccination clinic if you are in quarantine (self-isolate).

  • If you have an appointment:
    • Plan your trip and only show up five minutes before your appointment time to avoid causing queues;
    • If you are late, your appointment may be postponed;

Other safety measures

The start of vaccination does not mean the end of health measures. Physical distancing of two metres, wearing a mask or face covering and handwashing must be maintained until further notice.

Important

  • It is the age that is considered when receiving the vaccine, and not the year of birth.
  • If you have concerns about the vaccine you are offered, discuss it with the health care professional responsible for doing your assessment when you arrive at the vaccination site.

  • Make sure you meet the criteria for your target group.

People who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be turned away and asked to make a new appointment when they are eligible.

Instructions for the accompanying person

  • If you do not live with your loved one who is getting vaccinated, protect them while travelling. In your car:
    • both of you must wear a procedure mask or face covering that covers the mouth and nose;
    • open a window;
    • have your loved one sit in the back.
  • Once you arrive at the vaccination clinic, you and your loved one must wear a procedure mask or face covering at all times.
