  • Footer note number 1
The estimated waiting time for a non-priority case to see a doctor is based on the clientele who arrive in the emergency department waiting room. It varies according to the clinical severity of a person and the person’s condition. Priority cases will be seen more quickly while other cases will wait longer. The estimated waiting time can vary quickly as the situation progresses and it may not reflect reality when you arrive at the emergency department.
