QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 14, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 7,382 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 783,102*;
- 68 new deaths, for a total of 12,193 deaths;
- 3,085 hospitalizations, for an increase of 91 compared to the previous day;
- 442 new entries,
- 351 new discharges;
- 275 people in intensive care, for an increase of 3 compared to the previous day;
- 43 new entries,
- 40 new discharges;
- 43,707 samples conducted on January 12.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 114,721 doses administered are added, that is 108,768 doses in the last 24 hours and 5,953 doses before January 13, for a total of 16,195,112 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 258,137 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 16,453,249 doses received by Quebecers.
