QUÉBEC CITY , March 9, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 1,426 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 932,176*;
- 6 new deaths, for a total of 14,126 deaths;
- 1,222 hospitalizations, for a decrease of 30 compared to the previous day;
- 67 new entries,
- 97 new discharges;
- 69 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 8 compared to the previous day;
- 4 new entries,
- 12 new discharges;
- 15,132 samples conducted on March 7;
- 104,709 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 81,757 positive: 417 declared for yesterday, including 319 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 4,955 doses administered are added, that is 4,942 doses in the last 24 hours and 13 doses before March 8, for a total of 18,490,870 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 308,612 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 18,799,482 doses received by Quebecers.
