QUÉBEC CITY, March 22, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:

  • 1,383 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 946,889*;
  • 7 new deaths, for a total of 14,272 deaths;
  • 1,043 hospitalizations, for an increase of 41 compared to the previous day;
    • 100 new entries,
    • 59 new discharges;
  • 46 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 2 compared to the previous day;
    • 4 new entries,
    • 6 new discharges;
  • 11,778 samples conducted on March 20;
  • 115,278 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 90,574 positive: 743 declared for yesterday, including 631 positive.

*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.

Vaccination

  • 3,880 doses administered are added, that is 3,804 doses in the last 24 hours and 76 doses before March 21, for a total of 18,575,295 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 311,814 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 18,887,109 doses received by Quebecers.
