QUÉBEC CITY, April 4, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 2,331 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 978,924*;
- 7 new deaths, for a total of 14,411 deaths;
- 1,407 hospitalizations, for an increase of 57 compared to the previous day;
- 158 new entries,
- 101 new discharges;
- 69 people in intensive care, for a decrease of 3 compared to the previous day;
- 8 new entries,
- 11 new discharges;
- 15,157 samples conducted on April 2;
- 148,724 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 119,473 positive: 1,474 declared for yesterday, including 1,230 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 8,708 doses administered are added, that is 8,408 doses in the last 24 hours and 300 doses before April 3, for a total of 18,716,775 doses administered in Québec. Outside Québec, a total of 314,569 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 19,031,344 doses received by Quebecers.
