QUÉBEC CITY, July 27, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 1,780 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,142,427*;
- 25 new deaths reported in the last 24 hours, for a total of 15,916 deaths;
- 6,478 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 2,221 hospitalizations, including 753 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 73 compared to the previous day;
- 262 new entries,
- 189 new discharges;
- 65 people in intensive care, including 35 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 4 compared to the previous day;
- 14 new entries,
- 10 new discharges;
- 15,726 samples conducted on July 25;
- 265,240 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 221,501 positive: 414 declared for yesterday, including 346 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 9,326 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 20,296,654 doses received by Quebecers.
