QUÉBEC CITY, QC, Sept. 7, 2022 /CNW/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 924 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,182,668*;
- 13 new deaths, for a total of 16,433 deaths, i.e.;
- 0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
- 12 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
- 1 death that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
- 3,457 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 1,635 hospitalizations, including 555 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 78 compared to the previous day;
- 153 new entries,
- 75 new discharges;
- 32 people in intensive care, including 15 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 2 compared to the previous day;
- 5 new entries,
- 7 new discharges;
- 10,026 samples conducted on September 5;
- 284,882 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 238,663 positive: 186 declared for yesterday, including 157 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 16,919 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 20,825,747 doses received by Quebecers.
