QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 14, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 853 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,187,954*;
- 18 new deaths, for a total of 16,512 deaths, i.e.;
- 1 death in the last 24 hours,
- 13 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
- 4 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day. - 3,595 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 1,591 hospitalizations, including 541 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 9 compared to the previous day;
- 136 new entries,
- 145 new discharges;
- 40 people in intensive care, including 19 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 7 compared to the previous day;
- 11 new entries,
- 4 new discharges;
- 13,175 samples conducted on September 12;
- 287,166 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 240,626 positive: 190 declared for yesterday, including 159 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 21,294 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 20,944,626 doses received by Quebecers.
