The Gouvernement du Québec makes its site accessible to all web surfers. Accessibility enables persons with disabilities and those with particular difficulties to gain access to information via the Web. It also mitigates certain technical constraints to facilitate surfing.
This site also respects, in part, the Gouvernement du Québec’s Web accessibility standards (french only).
Certain elements of the site are not compliant with government standards. These are:
- downloadable documents;
- technical documents intended for a specialized audience;
- search results found using certain search boxes;
- the site map.
This platform is organic, and within a few years will include all the digital content of the Gouvernement du Québec. All content that is not compliant with government standards will eventually be reviewed and made accessible.
The Gouvernement du Québec cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content that is not subject to these standards.
The Gouvernement du Québec is carrying out accessibility tests using the following tools:
- Chrome (version 65)
- NonVisual desktop Access (NVDA 2018.1.1)
- Web Developer 0.5
- WCAG Contrast checker 3.2.0
- Colour Contrast Analyser version 2.4
