Applying for admission to full-time French courses for Canadian-born persons
You must be available Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when you apply. Your course can start at any time of the year.
Information to provide
To apply for a full-time French course, you must provide one of the following documents:
- A birth certificate issued by a provincial or territorial vital statistics office in Canada;
- Certificate of Canadian citizenship issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to Canadian citizens by descent;
- Certificate of Registration of Canadian Birth Abroad issued by IRCC to Canadian citizens by descent.

To apply for full-time courses:
- Click the "Accéder à la plateforme d’admission" (Access the Admission Platform) button at the bottom of the page to access the admission platform (in French only).
- Click on the button “Cours de français à temps complet pour les personnes canadiennes de naissance” (Full-time French courses for Canadian-born persons).
- Create an account on the Apprendre le français platform. If you already have an account,
log in to it . - Click on "Créer un nouveau dossier" (Create a new application) on your account home page and select "Demande d'admission à un cours de français à temps complet pour les personnes canadiennes de naissance" (Application for admission to a full-time French course for Canadian-born persons).
- Complete the application for admission to a full-time French course for Canadian-born persons.
You will need to indicate on the form which course is best suited to you. A built-in geolocation map available to help you find the nearest training location to your postal code area. You can also view the map of educational institutions that offer full-time French courses. You can consult themap of educational institutions that offer full-time French courses .
You will be able to save your application and complete it through more than one visit should you need to make any changes before submitting it.

Authorization
If you wish to allow a person (whether belonging to an organization or not) to have access to information concerning your application for admission to a French course or to allow that person to act on your behalf in connection with an application for a French course, you must complete the following authorization: Authorized person or Proxy – Francisation Québec (PDF 220 Kb).
