Applying for a Non-Posted Job

In some cases, companies do not post offers for positions they need to fill. It's difficult for a job seeker to access these opportunities without having contacts in the field.

To find non-posted job opportunities, you should tell people you know that you are looking for work. They might have information on positions that have to be filled within the organization they work for before the jobs are posted externally. They may tell their professional contacts about you.

If you already have a job but are looking for another one, you can ask whether any positions will soon be available in departments other than the one you currently work for.

You can also keep an eye on company start-ups or investment projects in the news. Positions may be available.
