Death benefit for Québec workers

If the deceased has contributed sufficiently to the Québec Pension Plan, the funeral expenses payer can apply for payment of the death benefit.

Special benefit for funeral expenses

This benefit is granted to the payer of the funeral expenses if the deceased did not have the financial resources to pay the funeral expenses.
