Filiation can be biological, established by assisted procreation or by adoption.

Proving a filiation

There are four ways to prove filiation between you and your child: act of birth, uninterrupted possession of status presumption of paternity and voluntary acknowledgement.

Declaring filiation when conception or birth occurred after the death of the spouse.

Filiation of a child born of sexual assault

Oppose the claim of filiation of a child by an abuser or obtain the withdrawal of existing filiation.
