Assistance for Former Recipients of Social Assistance – Supplement to the Work Premium
Is your salary not enough to cover the expenses related to your integration into the workplace?
A supplement to the work premium could be paid to you if your income is low and you have just left social assistance program, the Alternative jeunesse program or the Aim for employment Program.
if you are no longer receiving social assistance or if you are no longer eligible for the Alternative jeunesse program or the Aim for Employment Program because you have income from work;
if you have received social assistance or allowances from the Youth Alternative or Aim for Employment programs for at least 24 months out of the 30 months before the date the assistance stopped;
if you are eligible for the Work Premium offered by Revenu Québec.
How does the program work?
The work premium supplement is managed by Revenu Québec. It can be paid to you in two ways:
