A special moving benefit may be granted to a recipient of social assistance or social solidarity for a reason of health, sanitation or separation between spouses, up to a maximum of $200.

Before you apply, you must obtain authorization from a Services Québec office.

Certain supporting documents must be attached to your application for the benefit, such as a report attesting to the unsanitary condition of the dwelling or a medical or psychosocial assessment report in the case of a move for health reasons.

Once you have completed the form Application for payment of moving expenses (SR-0113A) (PDF 83 Kb) and attached the required supporting documents, you can drop it off or mail it to your Services Québec office.

You can inform the Ministère of your change of address using your online file.
