Emergency

Sexual Violence Helpline

  • Callers are listened to, provided with information or directed to assistance resources based on the needs identified. Free bilingual, anonymous and confidential service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across Québec.

SOS violence conjugale

  • Offers telephone support, psychological support, immediate intervention and referrals to shelters (SOS violence conjugale can make the call for you).

The Director of Youth Protection (DPJ)

Crime Victims Assistance Centres (CAVAC)

  • Available in all regions of Québec, providing access to trained intervention professionals.

Sexual Assault Centres (CALACS)

  • Offers direct help for women and female adolescents who have been sexually assaulted, as well as telephone support, support groups, accompaniment and support services for victims (police, hospital, etc.) and services for close friends and family members of victims.

Intervention and mutual assistance group for parents of victims of sexual exploitation

  • Provides free and confidential services to parents of minors who are under the influence of a pimp.

Concertation des luttes contre l’exploitation sexuelle (CLES)  - Montréal

  • Offers direct help for women who have been involved in prostitution and provides support by email. Information guide intended for close friends and family members of victims of sexual exploitation.

Tel-Jeunes

  • Live chat service (from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., 7 days a week) and telephone helpline (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

Cybertip

Organizations part of the ESPACE Program (families and children)

  • Program offering various workshops for children and operating a telephone helpline.

Mobilis (Longueuil)

  • Integrated team providing intervention and support services to victims of sexual exploitation, as well as support services to the family and friends of victims of sexual exploitation.

Marie-Vincent Foundation

  • Provides training, prevention and intervention services to support children and adolescents who have been victims of physical and sexual violence, as well as their families and friends.

Maison de Marthe (Québec)

  • Provides awareness-raising, housing, individual intervention and group intervention services for persons who have lived experience related to prostitution, as well as their friends and families. Provides support to women during all stages of leaving prostitution, while encouraging their recovery and social reintegration.

Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (CDPDJ)

  • Provides services free of charge to individuals whose human rights or youth rights have not been respected. Complaints can also be filed online.

Centre d’intervention en délinquance sexuelle (Laval)

  • Provides reference and intervention services for people, whether or not they have committed a sexual offense, and help services for people struggling with deviant fantasies who have not acted on them.

Information hotline for persons who were victims of sexual violence (DPCP)

  • Ask your questions about the judicial process to a prosecutor at the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales who is specialized in the treatment of files related to sexual violence.

    From Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Commission des services juridiques – Rebâtir

  • Offers legal consultation services at no charge to victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Victims have access to four hours of free legal advice from a lawyer regarding all areas of the law pertaining to the abuse and violence experienced.
