Biography of Anne-Marie Jean

Nathalie Rivard has been the Chief Representative of Québec in Atlanta since October 31, 2024. She represents Québec in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.

Ms. Rivard has 25 years of experience in economic development and attracting foreign direct investment at Investissement Québec.

Since 2021, Ms. Rivard served as Director of Foreign Direct Investment at the Québec Government Office in Atlanta. From 2011 to 2021, she was the Director of Business Development at the Québec Government Office in Los Angeles. Previously, Ms. Rivard was a Project Manager at Investissement Québec, with responsibilities that included overseeing subsidiaries in the United Kingdom and Nordic countries. She began her career as a lawyer for Makivik Corporation.

Ms. Rivard holds a Law degree from the Université de Montréal and an MBA from Queen's University. She is a member of the Québec Bar.
