About the Indigenous Initiatives Fund IV
This financial assistance program targets job creation and development for the First Nations and Inuit peoples of Québec, whether in communities or urban environments.

Client groups
IIF IV concerns Indigenous communities, Indigenous businesses, female Indigenous entrepreneurs, Indigenous business leaders aged 35 and under, and organizations.
Process for submitting an application
The main steps for submitting an application are listed below, along with the steps in the project selection process.
Economic Development
This component targets business startup and development in Indigenous communities, as well as entrepreneurship among women and young people.
Loan Guarantees
This component of IIF IV targets startup, development, recovery or consolidation projects for an Indigenous business or organization.
Community infrastructure
This component is designed to improve the wellbeing and living conditions of Indigenous populations and support their social and community development.
Community action
This component is designed to improve the wellbeing and living conditions of Indigenous populations and support their social and community development.
Support for consultation
This component is designed to help Indigenous nations and communities that plan to take part in the consultation and cooperation processes initiated by the Government of Québec.
