QUÉBEC CITY, Jan. 31, 2023 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- 531 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,302,634*;
- 13 new deaths, for a total of 17,954 deaths, i.e.;
- 0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
- 11 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
- 2 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
- 2,027 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 1,486 hospitalizations, including 455 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 57 compared to the previous day;
- 176 new entries,
- 233 new discharges;
- 23 people in intensive care, including 16 due to COVID-19, which remains stable compared to the previous day;
- 9 new entries,
- 9 new discharges;
- 6,436 samples conducted on January 29;
- 322,858 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 272,360 positive: 54 declared for yesterday, including 46 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 1,308 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,881,378 doses received by Quebecers.
