QUÉBEC CITY, March 23, 2023 /CNW/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
- Due to a situation beyond our control, data on cases is not available today;
- 2 new deaths, for a total of 18,254 deaths, i.e.;
- 0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
- 1 death that occurred between two and seven days ago,
- 1 death that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
- 1,695 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
- 1,267 hospitalizations, including 406 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 13 compared to the previous day;
- 81 new entries,
- 94 new discharges;
- 28 people in intensive care, including 18 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 2 compared to the previous day;
- 4 new entries,
- 2 new discharges;
- 6,526 samples conducted on March 21;
- 326,416 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 275,532 positive: 33 declared for yesterday, including 27 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
- 2,780 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,974,003 doses received by Quebecers.
