On October 31, Suzanne Roy, Minister of Families and Minister responsible for the Curateur public de Québec, tabled the Curateur public du Québec’s 2023-2024 annual report (Rapport annuel de gestion 2023-2024) in the National Assembly.

The report (in French only) (PDF 2.42 Mb) describes the organization’s activities during the past fiscal year. The highlights include:

  • Reaching 100% of the targets in the Declaration of services to the public;
  • Reaching 80% of the targets in the Plan stratégique 2021-2026;
  • Launching a major project to improve support and guidance for tutors who are caring for someone close to them, and to simplify the process;
  • The first year of application of the law to better protect vulnerable persons, the changes in which are making a significant difference in the lives of thousands of Quebecers;
  • Ongoing communications to raise awareness of the Curateur public’s essential mission and its services, including the assistance measure.
