Beginning January 1, 2026, the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration’s fees will be indexed at 2.05%. The fees are adjusted in accordance with section 80 of the Québec Immigration Act and section 83.3 of the Financial Administration Act.
This rate issued by the Ministère des Finances du Québec is an adjustment that corresponds, for Québec, to the annual average change in the Consumer Price Index.
This rate also applies to all of the scales that prescribe financial capacity in the immigration programs.
Note that the financial resources that international students must how possess become effective on January 1, 2026 and, therefore, are not subject to indexation in 2026. The amounts were significantly increased by regulatory changes on December 17, 2025.
